Provincial Assessment for Learning (AFL)
The Provincial Assessment for Learning (AFL) Program has assessed student achievement in mathematics and language arts. In addition to achievement data, the program uses student and teacher questionnaires to collect and report on contextual data and students' opportunities to learn in the area under study. The data is used by teachers and education leaders to inform decision-making in order to improve student learning.
