READING FOR ALL
The Good Spirit School Division Literacy Learning Goal states:
Students will demonstrate at least one year of growth in reading comprehension skills during each academic year by 2010 - 2011.
The three-year initiative has been set with the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year.
As part of your child's journey through life and literacy, the Good Spirit School Division would like to suggest resources available at The International Reading Association (IRA) website. The IRA provides professional information for those who help others learn to read including teachers, researchers, students, administrators, tutors, parents and others. Resources are available to help parents as they take on their critical role as their children's first and most important teachers.
