2017-2018 School Year​​

We have 5 LIP goals this year that can be viewed in full on the Learning Improvement Plan section of our website.  

First Reporting Period (FRP) Data:

LIP Goal #1:  By June 2018, reading levels in grade 5/6 will increase by 5% (Spring 2017:  Gr. 5 - 61.8%, Gr. 6 - 63.9%) and the number of proficient (70% or higher) ELA students in grades 9-12 will increase by 5% (2016 - 61.3%, 2017 - 54.8%)

FRP: 

- Gr 5:  70.3% are reading at grade level

- Gr 6:  50% are reading at grade level

- Gr 9-12:  57.4% are at proficient level


LIP Goal #2:  By June 2018, KCI will improve the 3 year graduate rate for our FNIM students by 4% (2017 - 53%)

FRP:  No data on credit attainment yet, will have to wait till end of January.


LIP Goal #3:  By June 2018, KCI will increase green/yellow students in attendance by 5% (2016 - 74.5%, 2017 - 78%)

FRP:

- Gr 5-8:  91.5% are green/yellow

- Gr 9-12:  76.8% are green/yellow

- Total:  84.9% are green/yellow


LIP Goal #4:  By June 2018, grade 5-8 students will increase writing proficiency by 5% as measured by the GSSD compose and create rubric (2017 - 64.4%)

FRP:  

- This goal will be assessed in the spring reporting period


LIP Goal #5:  By June 2018, 76% of KCI grade 5-8 students will score a 3 or higher on the GSSD number strand and patterns & relations rubric (2017 - 67.6%).  By June 2018, the number of proficient (70% or higher) math students in grade 9-12 will increase by at least 5% (2016 - 64.9%, 2017 - 68.7%)

FRP:

- Gr 5-8:  65.1% are at a level 3 or higher

- Gr 9-12:  72.1% are at the proficient level
