Sask Business Case Competition
May 7, 2016
Two teams of Raiders competed at the Saskatchewan Business Case Competition at the U of S last weekend. Mikalia Ortnyski, Brayden Miller, and Alison Landstad competed on the Personal Finance team. Austin Jennings-Plante, Marisa Desmarias, and Laney Hancock competed on the Entrepreneurship team. The teams received their case studies in the morning and had 3.25 hours to prepare their analysis, recommendations, and presentation. They then pitched their presentation to a panel of judges and hoped to advance to the finals in the afternoon. No winners but here is a cool video of the competition. They learned a lot and were able to network with students across the country as there were schools from Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario this year!
