2024-2025 Budget

As we prepare for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, we're excited to share a one-page infographic detailing the 2024-25 budget, pending ministry approval.

The total operating budget for 2024-2025 is set at $90,587,405, a 3.29% increase from last year. With this extra funding, GSSD will add 11.64 full-time positions in schools and increase school-based budgets by 6.75%.

The largest portion of the budget, 70.71%, will go towards instruction, followed by facilities and transportation. Did you know GSSD transports over 3000 students daily, covering over 20,400 km?
