Preeceville School has been shortlisted as one of the top three applicants for the 2018 Crossroads Credit Union Community Investment Fund. On behalf of the school, Leslea Hanson, who acts as one of the Literacy Leads in the school, applied to "make over" the school library with new furniture, reading corners, standing desks, and other features to become a learning centre where students can read, learn, and collaborate. The project would support the literacy culture of the school by creating an open, inviting and flexible space where traditional learning can merge with the digital world.
"Crossroads Credit Union is committed to supporting the communities of which it is a part. We are very fortunate to have been chosen as one of the top three projects."
